Forex Trading System Simulator – Try Before You Fly

If you are considering beginning a career in Forex trading and are thinking about purchasing a Forex trading system, then maybe you should consider Forex simulator training first.  In this article, we will explain what Forex simulator trading is and how it relates to Forex trading and Forex trading systems.  Furthermore, we will outline the reasons why we think you should do Forex simulator trading and where you can find the resources to help you do it.  After reading this article, you will be more aware of the benefits of Forex simulator training and how it will help you, along with a Forex trading system, to become an experienced and profitable trader.

Free “Demo” Accounts

Forex simulator trading is a free package, which allows you to virtually practice trading without having to part with any of your money.  You will benefit greatly from using a simulator to trade whether you use a Forex currency trading system, a stock trading system or a futures options trading system.  The skills acquired from simulated (demo) training is invaluable, and will save you considerable money when you revert to “live” trading.  With a Forex simulated training package, any mistakes that you make will not punish you, except in a virtual way.  You will, after all, be trading in virtual currency, so any losses you make will not hurt your bottom line.  This is greatly preferable to what can happen when you start to trade in actual stock or currencies without practicing with a virtual account first.  Trading in Forex can be very difficult and you can be heavily punished if you make a mistake, which is much more likely to happen if you have not had some training first.  Most Forex brokers that offer Forex trading systems and stock trading systems also offer practice or simulator accounts, often referred to as “demo” accounts.  These are usually free and are indispensable to learn the basics of both the markets and the broker’s software.

Understand Your Abilities

Stories abound as to how new traders lost a lot of money using a Forex day trading system without not knowing what they were doing.  By working with a trading simulator for a period of time, you will be aware of your capabilities before you ever start trading for real.  A Forex trading system is a great advantage to any trader.  After having used the simulator trading for a while, incorporate the best Forex trading system you can find into your trading strategy.  This system should be tested and proven using a simulated trading account.

If you want a stock trading system, then look up ‘stock trading systems’ online and you will have many systems to choose from.  Any day trading system will allow you to add the stock or Forex indicators you need for analyses.

If you are interested in getting involved in Forex trading, then a Forex simulated trading package is highly recommended.  That, along with a Forex trading system should, followed by plenty of practice, allow you to become a very good trader over time.  All trading is risky, so know what you do before risking real money.

Where Can I “Demo” Trade?

Most large Forex brokerage companies allow you to register for a simulated trading account as you begin your Forex investment career.  Before signing up, however, take a look at their trading platform you will be using, because this will be the same platform you use for live trading.  You will also want to check customer reviews online of the broker as you will naturally want to use that same broker for live trading after investing the time in learning their platform.  ACM Forex broker (AC Markets) is a great broker, as is Dukascopy and many others.

Some trading platforms, such as MetaTrader, are used by many brokers, so you can actually try Forex simulated trading and then go to another broker for live trading, without having to learn a new trading platform system.  MB Trading is a true ECN broker (no dealing desk) that now has a MetaTrader platform in addition to their excellent FX Navigator platform.
