One of my favorite websites, and one that I use often as an employer, is oDesk.com. Whether you are looking for a person to employee for a certain period of time, by the project, using a set fixed price for the project or through paying an hourly wage, this is a great site that matches employers to providers. For their service, oDesk charges fees of about 10%, but their cost is well worth the service. Not all people searching for work from home jobs want to know how to earn from home with a business, but prefer actually working for someone else and getting paid. oDesk is one place to post your skills and resume and then bid on jobs that are posted.
As a provider (person searching for a job), you list your qualifications, receive feedback after you complete a project, can take many different basic skills tests to demonstrate your skills, and can even add your picture to your profile for employers to browse. With a push of a button, an employer will request an interview with you, usually just through the oDesk e-mail system, and you can discuss your qualifications and agree to a salary.
Another very useful site is OnlineJobs, and for JobSeekers, this site is completely free. Employers pay a monthly fee for advertising their positions, which currently is $49 per month (although that price goes down if you pay for more than one month at at time).
